The Islamic Consultative Assembly (Parliament) of Iran has approved employing graduates of sports sciences with a bachelor's degree or higher as "Technical Managers" in sports clu

Dr. Mohammad Hossein Ghorbani, a faculty member at the Research Institute of Physical Education and Sports Sciences and a member of the Sports Group at the Parliament's Research Center, stated that this approval took place on Monday, September 8, 2025 (17 Shahrivar 1404) during the review of the Comprehensive Club Management Bill.
According to this legislation, the detailed responsibilities, hiring process, and activities of technical managers will be developed and communicated by the Ministry of Sports and Youth within three months after the law's approval.
Dr. Ghorbani highlighted that implementing this law will create job opportunities and facilitate the employment of sports sciences graduates in clubs, addressing a significant employment concern for students and graduates in this field.
He emphasized that this legal approval was achieved through collaboration among legislative authorities, the Ministry of Sports and Youth, and experts at the Research Institute of Physical Education and Sports Sciences.
