Intersection of Science, Technology, and Innovation in the Nation’s Largest Sports Event Sportex 1404 in collaboration with the SSRI; a significant step in guiding and policymaking for Iran’s sports industry

The International Sportex 1404 Exhibition, featuring participation from the Institute of Physical Education and focusing on smart technologies and sports industry development policies, will be held in November this year.

According to the Public Relations Office , the 24th International Sport and Sports Equipment Exhibition (Sportex) will be organized in collaboration with the Institute of Physical Education and Sport Sciences under the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology. The event aims to emphasize major themes of policymaking, research, and technological development in the sports industry. The Institute will cooperate with the event organizer (Milad Noor Exhibition Company) in various areas such as selecting and evaluating emerging technological topics, monitoring the scientific quality of conference content, and providing educational programs for the sustainable development of the sports industry.

In this edition, the Institute will be responsible for scientific consulting, strategic planning, and content management of the specialized conference section, known as “Sportex Studio.” This segment is designed to address macro-level challenges, analyze development policies, and identify innovative pathways within the sports industry.

The innovation and technology section will present the latest advancements in smart sports technologies, motion data analysis, digital health, advanced equipment, and new sports services. It will serve as an opportunity for young innovators and technology companies to showcase their products and services, facilitating commercialization and support for the growth of sports technologies.

Additionally, a dedicated quantitative and qualitative evaluation system will be implemented to assess the quality and effectiveness of the exhibition’s programs. Key indicators such as the impact of sessions, scientific content quality, level of institutional participation, and participant feedback will be measured.

It is noteworthy that the 24th International Sport and Sports Equipment Exhibition (Sportex) will be held from October 23rd to 26th, 2025 (Aban 1st–4th, 1404) at the Tehran International Permanent Fairground (Halls 40, 41, and 5). Further details on the exhibition program will be announced soon.
