24th International Sport and Sports Equipment Exhibition to Be Held with a New Content-Oriented Approach

The 24th International Sport and Sports Equipment Exhibition will be held from October 23rd to 26th (Aban 1st–4th, 1404) at the Tehran International Permanent Fairground, featuring a renewed and content-driven approach.

According to the Public Relations Office of the SSRI, a coordination and organizational meeting for the exhibition was held with the participation of the Institute (as the academic partner and scientific supervisor), the organizer Milad Noor Exhibition Company, officials from sports federations, and representative committees.

In this meeting, Hamidreza Ghodbeigi, Secretary of the Exhibition, outlined the diverse programs planned for this year’s event, announcing that it will include the participation of athletes from various disciplines, sports federations, related organizations, the Ministry of Sports and Youth, and dozens of companies and manufacturers of sports equipment and products.

Ghodbeigi added that the exhibition will feature specialized scientific and problem-oriented sessions, sports competitions in multiple disciplines, public and morning workouts, local games, and physical fitness contests across different age categories.

Dr. Hamed Abbasi, Deputy of Research and Graduate Studies at the Institute of Physical Education and Sport Sciences, emphasized the Institute’s scientific and content-driven approach, stating: “This year, the Institute not only supports the exhibition’s new orientation but also contributes actively as a content-development partner to enhance the quality and impact of the event.”

He further explained: “Our focus will be on organizing specialized panels featuring academic, executive, and policymaking representatives; conducting engaging and practical training workshops; and providing comprehensive quantitative and qualitative reports on the exhibition’s performance.”

Dr. Abbasi also highlighted a key objective: “The creation of a centralized database for sports service providers and the establishment of an integrated access platform for users will allow for effective connections between service providers and clients even after the exhibition—facilitating the growth of the national sports industry.”

He concluded: “Using a 360-degree evaluation of the exhibition and detailed analysis of company participation, data, and performance, the outcomes of this year’s event can significantly contribute to evidence-based decision-making and the enhancement of future sports policies.”

Participants in the meeting also presented their respective plans for involvement in the exhibition.

It is noteworthy that the 24th International Sport and Sports Equipment Exhibition, held under the motto “Combining Exhibition Experience with Specialized Content,” will welcome visitors at the Tehran International Permanent Fairground from October 23rd to 26th, 2025.
