The SSRI will participate as the strategic scientific partner of the International SPORTEX 2025 Exhibition
The Sport Sciences Research Institute of Iran will participate as the strategic scientific partner of the International SPORTEX 2025 Exhibition, aiming to strengthen the link between science, technology, and the sports industry.
According to Dr. Fariba Mohammadi, President of the institute, the collaboration with Milad Noor Exhibition Company focuses on creating an effective bridge between academic research and industrial innovation. The institute’s participation is organized under three main categories:
1. SPORTEX Studio
This section includes eight scientific and applied expert panels, covering themes such as the development of sports equipment industries, student sports, elderly fitness, innovation and entrepreneurship in the sports industry, child physical and mental well-being in football, the future of sports technology, and Iran’s international sports outlook. Specialized educational workshops will also be held to train professionals in the field.
2. Knowledge-based Companies and Startups Area
Over 70 startups and research-based firms applied to join the exhibition, of which the best-performing and market-ready enterprises were selected to showcase sport-related products and services.
3. Research and Policy Section
The institute will conduct analytical and policy evaluations of exhibitors and visitors, aiming to generate data-driven insights for sports policymakers. Digital platforms and a comprehensive industry database are being developed to facilitate sustained connections between stakeholders and end-users.
Additionally, as part of its educational initiative, the institute is hosting three specialized workshops, including:

Growth Assessment in Children: From Motion to Cognition (by Dr. Saleh Rafiei)
Magic of Visual Assessments in Sports Clubs (by Dr. Mohammadreza Sidi).
Dr. Mohammadi emphasized that this collaboration promotes scientific integration, domestic sport production support, and evidence-based policy planning, marking a major step toward fostering innovation and sustainable development in Iran’s sports sector.
