The first Children’s Movement Games Festival was successfully held at the National Olympic Academy with strong enthusiasm from families of academic staff and employees of the Consortium of National Research Institutes.

Organized by the Sport Sciences Research Institute of Iran, the event took place on Thursday, October 23, 2025 (1 Aban 1404) under the theme of promoting vitality and physical activity among children. The festival provided a joyful and educational environment where children and youth participated in a variety of movement-based games tailored to different age groups.

During the festival, children engaged in several dynamic and playful activity stations designed to enhance movement skills, cooperation, and motor creativity. Alongside the games, specialized services such as motor assessment and sports talent identification were offered for children, while expert consultations on child development and active parenting were provided for parents.

At the conclusion of the program, all participating children received “Medals of Honor for Joy and Movement” as tokens of appreciation.

The event emphasized the valuable role of parents in participating in their children’s physical play and encouraging group-based active games over solitary electronic entertainment. By fostering a culture of health and movement within families, the festival served as an important step toward building a more active, healthy, and socially connected new generation.
