Official call for the launch of the Global Iranian Sport Academia Network (GISAN)

The SSRI has launched the Global Iranian Sport Academia Network (GISAN) with the aim of strengthening scientific and international cooperation among Iranian sport scholars residing abroad.

According to the Public Relations of the Sports Sciences Research Institute, this network has been designed as a dynamic and effective bridge between sports science researchers inside and outside the country, so that by harnessing the scientific capacities of Iranian elites and professors across the world, it can help advance research, technology, and scientific interactions in the field of physical education and sport sciences.

Key objectives of the GISAN network:

- Creating a collaborative ecosystem among Iranian researchers inside and outside the country
- Playing an effective role in international sports institutions
- Establishing a specialized member database to facilitate scientific and research interactions
- Forming specialized committees for different branches of sport sciences
- Strengthening international scientific and research cooperation through joint projects, articles, books, and students
- Organizing joint training courses and boot camps
- Holding educational webinars with leading Iranian professors residing abroad
- Institutionalizing member participation by selecting qualified members as editorial board members of the Institute’s journals and as members of research groups

All Iranian researchers, professors, and experts residing abroad in the field of physical education and sport sciences are invited to join this network and contribute to the scientific and sporting development of the country.
