Mehdi Alinejad, Secretary‑General of the National Olympic Committee, at the closing ceremony of the first "From Idea to Business in Sport" event, emphasizing the necessity of close cooperation between the National Olympic Committee and the Institute of Physical Education and Sport Sciences, highlighted the role of this center in transforming scientific research into practical solutions and a competitive advantage for the country's sports.

According to the Public Relations Department of the Institute of Physical Education and Sport Sciences, speaking at the ceremony in the presence of the Minister of Sports and Youth, the Minister of Science, and a number of officials and activists in the field of sports and technology, he stated: "This event pursues an important goal: turning ideas into practical businesses and solving the real problems of the country's sports."

The Secretary‑General of the National Olympic Committee, referring to the growing role of technology and data analysis in elite sports, added: "Today, about 70% of the preparation programs for national teams worldwide are designed based on intelligent performance monitoring, data analysis, and the prediction of injuries and performance decline. The champion of the future is not merely the result of more training, but of intelligent decision‑making and the use of modern technologies."

He emphasized: "In this regard, close cooperation has been established with the Institute of Physical Education and Sport Sciences so that the results of scientific research can be transformed into executive solutions and a competitive advantage for the country's sports. In this context, I find it necessary to express special gratitude to Dr. Mohammadi and her colleagues for this constructive interaction."

Alinejad, referring to the mission of the Innovation Department of the National Olympic Committee, said: "We are pleased to have succeeded in launching the intelligent national teams monitoring system. This system, supported by sports science and technology specialists in the Innovation Department, will establish a link between research, technology, and the real needs of national teams."

He concluded by noting: "Holding events such as 'From Idea to Business in Sport' accelerates the process of turning ideas into practical products and can provide the necessary platform for the sustainable development of the country's sports industry."
