Continuing to solidify its position as the scientific, research, and specialized arm of the country's sports, the Institute of Physical Education and Sports Sciences hosted the head of the Strategic Studies and Research Center of the Ministry of Sport and Youth and managers from the ministry. The strategic meeting focused on the development of scientific governance, data-driven decision-making, and the targeted utilization of the country's research and executive capacities.

According to a statement from the Public Relations Office of the Institute of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, during this meeting, both parties emphasized the necessity of effective linkage between science, research, and the executive system of the country's sports. They stressed the expansion of joint cooperation to address current issues and challenges in the fields of sports, health, and research. It was also agreed that by synergizing existing capacities within the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology and the Ministry of Sport and Youth, the groundwork for implementing problem-oriented, practical, and impactful projects at the national level would be further strengthened.

Attendees of the meeting, pointing to the importance of evidence-based policy-making and scientific analysis, emphasized the necessity of developing infrastructure for monitoring, evaluation, and data analysis in the fields of sports and health.
