Memorandum of Understanding Signed Between Institute of Physical Education and Sports Sciences and Gol Gohar Sirjan Club

 

A joint memorandum of understanding has been signed between the Institute of Physical Education and Sports Sciences and the Gol Gohar Sirjan Cultural Sports Club by Dr. Fariba Mohammadi and Mohammad Espandiarpour, aiming to develop scientific, educational, research, technological, and executive cooperation and to enhance sports performance.

According to a statement from the Public Relations Office of the Institute of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, a joint memorandum of understanding was signed between the Institute and the Gol Gohar Sirjan Cultural Sports Club with the aim of creating a platform for scientific, educational, research, technological, and executive cooperation, as well as enhancing sports performance, empowering human capital, and developing the club's professional structure.

The MoU was signed between the Institute of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, headed by Dr. Fariba Mohammadi, and the Gol Gohar Sirjan Cultural Sports Club, managed by Mohammad Espandiarpour. Based on the agreement, the two parties will cooperate in various scientific and executive fields.

According to the provisions of this MoU, the creation and development of a center for player performance assessment and enhancement, the design and implementation of a performance evaluation system for teams and players, monitoring physical fitness, injury prevention, and performance optimization are among the main axes of cooperation between the two institutions.

Furthermore, the MoU emphasizes the development of education and empowerment through holding specialized courses and workshops for coaches, managers, and club staff; implementing educational programs for players and the academy; holding training courses for athletes' parents; and offering short-term, practical, in-person and virtual courses.

The development of applied research, the definition and implementation of research projects based on the club's needs, the direction of theses and dissertations toward the club's issues, and the preparation of scientific and analytical reports for managerial decision-making are other sections of this MoU.

In the field of technology and innovation, the creation of a player database and performance data, the development of data analysis and video analysis systems, and the support of ideas, startups, and technological sports products are also on the agenda.

Other areas of cooperation include the development of the academy and talent identification through the design and implementation of a regional and national talent identification system, improving the scientific structure of the club's academy, and formulating a player development pathway from grassroots to professional level.

At the conclusion of the signing of this MoU, Espandiarpour visited the laboratory and facilities of the Institute of Physical Education and Sports Sciences.
