According to the Public Relations Department of the Institute of Physical Education and Sport Sciences, this meeting — held with the aim of examining strategies and challenges for managing the effects of war on sports infrastructure and programs — hosted prominent specialists and experts from various fields. Impactful images of sports facilities and programs affected by war damage were shown to further emphasize the importance of the issue and the need to find effective solutions.

At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Fariba Mohammadi, President of the Institute of Physical Education and Sport Sciences, welcomed the professors, high‑ranking sports managers, and attendees, saying: "I offer my sincere greetings. At the outset, while wishing for the acceptance of your devotions and prayers, I offer my condolences for the sorrowful days of our beloved homeland, especially the martyrdom of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution and our dear compatriots. These are days when each of us, with a grieving yet steadfast heart, witnesses the sacrifices of the men and women of this land."

Dr. Mohammadi, citing a verse from the Holy Quran — reciting verse 160 of Surah Al-Imran: "If God supports you, no one can overcome you" — continued: "Mindful of divine support and hoping for His infinite grace, we have gathered in this learned and committed assembly to pave the bright path of service, steadfastness, and the achievement of national goals through reflection and faith. In such times, the concept of 'sport' goes beyond competitive arenas; it is a symbol of resilience, hope, and the reconstruction of the collective spirit of society. How fitting it is that we have come together today to discuss the activist role of the sports community in managing the effects and consequences of war."

The President of the Institute of Physical Education and Sport Sciences, asking permission from the elders and intellectuals present, added: "As a host, and as the most junior member of this scientific and managerial gathering, I honor the valuable presence of all the distinguished speakers."

Subsequently, the speakers of this virtual meeting presented their analytical discussions.

The speakers included: Dr. Abdolhossein Khosropanah, Secretary of the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution; Dr. Mehdi Alinejad, Secretary‑General of the National Olympic Committee; Hojjatoleslam wal‑Muslimeen Dr. Mohammad Hossein Khankhani, Deputy for Cultural Affairs and Development of Public Sports, Ministry of Sports and Youth; Dr. Vahid Shalchi, Deputy for Cultural and Social Affairs, Ministry of Science, Research and Technology; Dr. Seyyed Mohammad Kazem Vaez Mousavi, Professor at Imam Hussein Comprehensive University; Dr. Nader Shokri, President of the Iranian Scientific Association of Sports Law; Dr. Hassan Fartousi, Secretary‑General of the Iranian National Commission for UNESCO; and Dr. Fariba Mohammadi, President of the Institute of Physical Education and Sport Sciences.

The event was broadcast live via SkyRoom.
