National Research Call for Proposals Issued to Map the Future of Student Sports in Iran

Institute of Physical Education and Sports Sciences Seeks Faculty Contributions for Sustainable Development of University Sports

According to a statement from the Public Relations Office of the Institute of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, the Institute, in line with implementing the research project 'National Program for Sustainable Development of University Sports in the Islamic Republic of Iran' — supported by the Student Affairs Organization of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology — is inviting faculty members from universities, research institutes, and higher education institutions across the country to participate in shaping the future horizon of Iranian university sports by submitting their scientific ideas, proposals, and research plans.

This national call marks the beginning of a transformative scientific movement aimed at redesigning the country's university sports system. Relying on the capacity of elites, professors, and prominent researchers, the initiative seeks to develop and implement modern models of governance, education, participation, and sustainable development for university sports at both national and international levels.

A 'Research Proposal Request Form' (RFP) is independently available for each of the call's themes via the link below. Interested parties can study the objectives, scope of services, expected outputs, and executive requirements for each theme, and prepare and submit their research proposals in the designated format.

Development of a Strategic Plan for the Development and Enhancement of University Sports

Analysis of the Academic and Employment Status of Sports Champions Admitted to Iranian Universities Over the Past Three Decades and Presentation of an Optimal Model for the Admission and Education of Sports Champions

Comparative Study of University Sports Event Hosting Models at Selected Universities Worldwide and Presentation of an Optimal Model

Design of a Teaching Model for the General Physical Education Unit in Crisis Conditions

Development of a Comprehensive Plan to Enhance the Participation of International Students in University Sports Activities

Submitted proposals will be evaluated by the Institute's scientific and specialized committees based on scientific, executive, and practical criteria. Selected projects, after undergoing the approval process, will enter the implementation phase.

Faculty members of universities, research institutes, and higher education institutions with relevant scientific and executive backgrounds may submit their proposals by the deadline of May 21 (31 Ordibehesht 1405).
